The Simplest Pork Curry

  1. To start out, let's make the basic caramelized onions!
  2. I sliced the onions, sprinkled with salt and olive oil, covered with plastic wrap and microwaved for 10 minutes.
  3. Then stir-fry patiently until it caramelizes!
  4. It looks like this!
  5. If you add soup stock, it will become a very good onion soup!
  6. I often use two kinds of commercial curry roux mixed together, but the base I like to use is always Java Curry Brand (Medium Hot)!!
  7. To season, add Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce and balsamic vinegar.
  8. Add grated garlic at the end!
  9. And a little bit of soy sauce as a secret flavor!
  10. Cut the pork belly into big chunks.
  11. Pan fry until browned on all sides.
  12. Done!
