Shrimp Chili with Onions
- 20 Shelled shrimp
- 1/4 Onion
- 1/2 tbsp Grated garlic
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp Doubanjiang
- 4 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 6 tbsp Water
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on the shrimp and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Cover the seasoned shrimp with katakuriko.
- Fry the shrimp in a lightly oiled pan.
- Once fried, remove the shrimp.
- In the same pan, use the leftover oil to fry the grated garlic.
- Once it becomes fragrant, add the minced onion.
- Once the onions have become translucent, add the sauce and stir.
- Add the shrimp and mix well.
