Janice'S Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 4 1/2 c. oatmeal (put small amount into blender until it turns to powder; measure first, then blend)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 (12 oz.) bag mini chocolate chips
- 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
- 3 c. chopped nuts (any kind)
- Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix flour, blended oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda together.
- Mix together with creamed ingredients and add a 12 ounce bag of mini chocolate chips, 1 (8 ounce) Hershey bar (grated) and 3 cups chopped nuts (any kind).
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Drop by heaping tablespoonful.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Remove cookies and place on wire rack to cool.
- Eat cookies.
- Makes 6 dozen.
