Nippy Nuggets
- 2 lb. beef brisket
- 1 1/4 c. carrots, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 tsp. cornstarch
- 4 c. curly noodles
- Cut brisket into 1-inch cubes.
- Brown in hot oil.
- Add carrots, onion, tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, water and salt.
- Cover and cook on low heat for about 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
- Combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water.
- Add to beef mixture and stir until thick and bubbly.
- Prepare curly noodles according to package instructions. Serve beef mixture over noodles.
- Garnish with carrot curls and parsley.
- Serves 8.
