German Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies

  1. Microwave the chocolate and margarine on HIGH for 2 minutes.
  2. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup sugar until well blended.
  4. Add 2 eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup flour and nuts until well mixed.
  6. Spread mixture into greased 8-inch square pan.
  7. Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 Tbsp.
  8. flour in bowl until smooth.
  9. Spoon over brownie mixture; swirl with knife to marbleize.
  10. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
  12. Cool; cut into 16 squares.
