German Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies
- 4 oz. Baker's German Sweet Chocolate
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- Microwave the chocolate and margarine on HIGH for 2 minutes.
- Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
- Stir in 3/4 cup sugar until well blended.
- Add 2 eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in 1/2 cup flour and nuts until well mixed.
- Spread mixture into greased 8-inch square pan.
- Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 Tbsp.
- flour in bowl until smooth.
- Spoon over brownie mixture; swirl with knife to marbleize.
- Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- DO NOT OVERBAKE.
- Cool; cut into 16 squares.
