Irish Vegetables (Diabetic)

  1. Combine bay leaf, water, wine vinegar in medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Either add vegetables to the water and simmer until vegetables are tender.
  4. OR
  5. Place vegetables in a steamer basket, cover, and steam vegetables until tender.
  6. If you simmer, drain, remove bay leaf.
  7. Add salt and pepper.

bay leaf, water, wine vinegar, corn, broccoli floret, carrot, cauliflower floret, pimiento, salt, fresh ground pepper
