Salmon Quiche
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 2/3 c. finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped almonds
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 15 1/2 oz. can salmon
- 3/4 c. Egg Beaters or 3 beaten eggs
- 1 c. sour cream (reduced calorie)
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. finely shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
- 3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
- Crust:
- Combine whole wheat flour, 2/3 cup cheese, almonds, salt and paprika in a bowl.
- Stir in oil.
- Set aside 1/2 cup crust.
- Press remaining crust into 9-inch quiche dish or pie pan. Bake crust in 400u0b0 oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove crust and reduce oven to 325u0b0.
