Skunkmonkey's General Taos chicken
- 10 boneless skinless chicken breast chopped
- 1 tsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp black Chinese vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flake
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 inch fresh ginger sliced and chopped thinly
- 1 lb broccoli
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup Shaoxing wine
- 1 small onion chopped
- 4 green onions chopped
- 2 tbsp heaping minced garlic
- 3/4 cup Heinz ketchup
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- marinate the chopped chicken breast in 3/4cup wine and the same amount of soy sauce and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch and white pepper powder
- make batter of milk and flour cook onion in a little oil ,add ginger and garlic cook, add ketchup remaining wine soy sauce add the oils and vinegar, add pepper flakes, fry the chicken after you batter mix water and cornstarch add to sauce add all the cooked chicken add broccoli and green onion let simmer for 5 minutes serve
