Proscuitto And Asparagus Recipe
- 6-8 thin slices of prosciutto
- 12 sticks of asparagus
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1 dry red chili
- hand full of fresh basil and oregano
- salt and pepper
- extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
- In a mortar and pestle, crush red chili, cumin, fennel and a healthy pinch of salt and pepper
- Add in a splash of oil to a frying pan and set heat fairly warm.
- Add in asparagus.
- Stir-fry for 1 minute, then add in slices of prosciutto and spices.
- Stir-fry for 1 minute more, then remove from heat and quickly add in herbs and a splash of extra virgin olive oil.
- Stir to mix well.
- Arrange prosciutto on plate and lay asparagus on top.
- Simple!
