Red 'n Blue Checkerboard Gelatin

  1. Dissolve each flavor of gelatin separately in 1-1/4 qt.
  2. (5 cups) of the hot water (or 2-1/2 cups hot water for the trial recipe).
  3. Pour each flavor into 2 separate full sheet pans (or 2 half sheet pans for trial recipe).
  4. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Cut gelatin into circles using a 2-inch round cookie cutter.
  6. Serve 2 of each colored gelatin circles on a clean checkerboard.
