Bourbon Barbequed Ribs Recipe
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 1/2 lbs. fresh pork spareribs, cut into serving pcs
- 1/3 c. bourbon
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Warm pepper sauce to taste
- Mix all ingredients except spareribs; let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Place spareribs, meaty side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan.
- Roast, uncovered in 325 degree oven 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
- Brush sauce over ribs, roasting, turning and brushing frequently with sauce till ribs are done.
- Heat remaining sauce to boil, serve with ribs.
- If served on platter, garnish with lemon slices.
