Refrigerator Pan Rolls

  1. Combine hot water, sugar, salt and margarine; stir well.
  2. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  4. Combine water mixtures, egg and 2 1/2 cups of flour, beat until smooth.
  5. Add enough flour (about 2 3/4 cups) to make soft dough.
  6. Turn out onto lightly floured board, knead until smooth and elastic.
  7. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.
  8. Cover tightly, store in refrigerator until doubled or needed.
  9. (May be kept 4 to 5 days.) Punch dough down, form small balls, place on greased pan.
  10. Cover, let rise in warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
  11. Bake at 375u0b0 for about 20 minutes.
