Garlic Bread Pasta
- 5-13 ounces, weight Pasta (I Used Penne)
- 2-18 ounces, weight Butter, Divided
- 6 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 ounces, weight Breadcrumbs (around 1 Slice Of Bread)
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Cheddar (optional)
- Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
- Meanwhile, heat 40 grams of the butter (scant 3 tablespoons, approximately) in a frying pan, and once it has melted, add the garlic, breadcrumbs and thyme.
- Over medium heat, stir continually until the breadcrummbs are brown and crispy.
- (Note: it does not take long for the breadcrumbs to go from soggy to crispy, so dont take your eyes off them!)
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and stir in the remaining butter and the parmesan.
- Serve topped with the crispy garlic breadcrumbs, and a little grated cheddar if desired.
