Hungarian Pork Paprika
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 tsp. olive oil
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 onion, chopped
- mushrooms (optional)
- 1 lb. pork, boneless and lean
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes (any style)
- Cut boneless pork in strips.
- Combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Toss with meat.
- Brown meat, garlic and onion in hot oil. Stir in tomatoes.
- Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 20 minutes or until meat is tender, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat.
- Take 1/2 cup of mixture from skillet.
- Blend with sour cream, then add sour cream mixture back into remaining mixture in skillet.
- Do not boil.
- Serve over noodles.
- Very good with chicken or beef.
