Strawberry Banana Split Tart
- 1 pkg. (320 g) frozen ready-to-bake pastry pie shells, 2 shells, thawed
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 1-1/2 cups 2% milk
- 2 small bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup (1/2 of 250-mL jar) Kraft Pure Strawberry Jam
- 2 cups strawberries, halved Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 3 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Remove pastry shells from foil plates.
- Place one pastry shell on top of the second pastry shell.
- With rolling pin, roll out into 12-inch round.
- Roll in 1/2-inch of edge, forming border.
- Prick crust generously with fork.
- Place on baking sheet.
- Bake 15 min.
- Cool 15 min.
- or until completely cool.
- Prepare pudding as directed on package, using 1-1/2 cups milk.
- Spread pudding over crust.
- Arrange banana slices on top of pudding.
- Microwave jam on HIGH 20 sec.
- ; spread over pudding and bananas.
- Top with strawberries.
- Drizzle top with melted chocolate.
- Refrigerate 10 min.
- Cut into wedges to serve.
