Chicken N Dumplings Recipe
- 5 frzn boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Water to cover chicken
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 2 celery stalks, minced
- 8 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 lg. bag frzn mixed vegetables
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- In large saucepan combine first 8 ingredients and boil for 15 min.
- While boiling prepare dumpling mix of Bisquick and lowfat milk.
- Remove chicken from pan.
- Cold and chop.
- Add in vegetables to pan and add in water to cover vegetables if necessary.
- Bring to boil and return chicken to pan.
- Drop dumpling mix by spoonfuls (10 or possibly 12).
- Lower heat, simmer uncovered for 10 min and covered for 10 min.
- Serve.
