Chip Cookies
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. Crisco oil
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 2 c. corn flakes
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. pecan pieces
- Cream together shortening and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and soda. Stir in oatmeal, corn flakes, chocolate chips, coconut and pecans.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients; mix well. Drop batter 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Flatten slightly.
- Use a "40 ice cream scoop."
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Center of cookies should be soft when taken from oven.
- I get 85 cookies.
