Aloha Chili
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 8 or 9 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. Dat'L Do It hot sauce
- 2 cans beef broth
- 2 or 3 cans tomatoes
- 2 or 3 cans light kidney beans
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 hot peppers
- 1 can pineapple, drained
- salt to taste
- Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in olive oil until tender. Add ground chuck and sausage; cook until done and drain off oil. Add chili powder and garlic powder; mix well.
- Add beef broth.
