Helluva Hamburger Vegetable Soup
- 1 lb hamburger (lean)
- 2 large turnips (diced)
- 4 medium potatoes (diced)
- 2 cups chopped carrots
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup mushroom (sliced)
- 12 cups water
- 4 teaspoons beef stock (or if desired substitute 3 cups of water for 3- 15oz cans beef broth.)
- Brown hamburger and onion in large stock pot.
- Add all other ingredients with the water Bring to boil Reduce heat to medium and let simmer approx 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
- Season to Taste!
