Pear Fritters

  1. Combine beaten egg, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and flour.
  2. Mix well and add sour cream.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil to 375 degrees.
  4. Dip pears in batter, carefully place in oil, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Turn and cook 1 to 2 minutes more.
  6. Add oil as needed.
  7. Remove fritters and drain.
  8. May be sprinkled with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.
  9. Serve warm.
