Savory Asian Chicken Wings
- 1 12-2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 34 cup packed light brown sugar
- 14 cup dry cooking sherry
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- chopped fresh chives
- Preheat broiler.
- Broil chicken wings about 5 minute per side.
- Transfer chicken to slow cooker.
- Combine onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, ginger and garlic in large bowl.
- Add to slow cooker; stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hrs or on high 2-3 hours Sprinkle with chives.
