Oatmeal Honey Bread

  1. Mix together quick oatmeal and 1 cup water in microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.
  2. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Put 2 cups warm water and dry yeast together in a large bowl and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. Let begin to work.
  4. Add oat mixture, honey, salt, oil and flour to yeast mixture.
  5. Mix well and knead on floured board until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place in a bowl, greased well with Puritan oil.
  7. Let rise until double in bulk, about 1 hour.
  8. Punch down and roll over; let rise again.
  9. Punch down and form into 2 or 3 loaves, depending on pan size.
  10. Let rise again.
  11. Bake at 375u0b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
  12. Can be made into buns also.
