Black Walnut Carrot Cake With Buttermilk Glaze Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 10-inch tube pan.
  2. Mix together ingredients.
  3. Bake 90 min.
  4. Remove from oven and, while cake is still warm, glaze with:
  5. Buttermilk Glaze1/2 C buttermilk1 C sifted powdered sugar1/2 tsp baking soda1 Tbsp.
  6. white corn syrup.
  7. Blend well and pour on top of warm cake.
  8. Let stand for 1 hour.
  9. Remove cake from pan and serve.
