Braised Gnocchi in Tomato Sausage Sauce

  1. Heat an oven proof skillet over medium heat, add the oil.
  2. Add gnocchi and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove gnocchi to a large bowl and set aside.
  4. Brown sausage, breaking it into small pieces.
  5. Once cooked, add to the gnocchi.
  6. Add tomato and garlic to the pan, and cook for 2 minutes breaking apart the whole tomato pieces.
  7. Stir in 1/2 of the basil and all of the rosemary.
  8. Then add gnocchi mixture.
  9. Top with the cheese, and broil on HI for 4 minutes or until brown.
  10. Sprinkle remaining basil on top and serve.
