Stuffed burgers
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 1 large jalapeno peppers
- 1/4 cup dehydrated onions
- 1 cup colby and monterrey jack cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 lb ground meat
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- Chop the bell peppers, take the seeds out.
- Do the same for the jalapenos.
- Fry the peppers in oil season with salt.
- When they are soft set aside off heat.
- Shred the cheese.
- Mix the cheese with onions and peppers.
- Set aside.
- In a bowl mix the meat with the salt, pepper, and garlic
- Form the meat into balls and make a pocket in the center and stuff with stuffing mixture.
- Then seal it up and gently from a patty.
- Bake till meat is done in the oven, 30 minutes.
- Move to paper towels to absorb excessive oils.
