Baked Apricots

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  2. Arrange the apricots, cut side up in a small baking dish that will hold them compactly in a single layer.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar, dot with butter and sprinkle with brandy.
  4. Place in the oven and bake until they are tender and beginning to brown, about 45 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool briefly, then serve.
