Bar B Que Ribs With Sauerkraut Recipe
- 1 lg. can sauerkraut
- 3 lbs. spareribs
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon each prepared mustard & Worcestershire sauce
- Place ribs in the bottom of a large pot or possibly kettle.
- Place can of sauerkraut over the top of the ribs.
- Mix together tomato sauce, catsup, mustard, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour over the sauerkraut.
- Place sliced onions on top.
- Simmer over low heat, covered till spareribs are tender, about 2 hrs.
- Serve.
