Chocolate-Pudding Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Put flour, sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt in a deep dish baker.
  3. Stir to mix well.
  4. Add milk and oil.
  5. Stir until well blended.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar, remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and chocolate chips over the batter.
  7. Mix vanilla with water and pour evenly over the top (try almond extract instead of vanilla sometime).
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until surface looks dry and brownie-like.
  9. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
  10. Makes 9 servings; 243 calories each.
