Gooey Butter Bars Recipe

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1 egg
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1 box confectioners' sugar
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 (8 ounce.) cream cheese, softened

1. Mix first 3 ingredients and spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
2. Combine and beat till smooth the last 3 ingredients.
3. Pour over dough mix.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
5. (Optional: sprinkle with 1/2 c. nuts) then bake 20 min longer.
6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
7. Cut and chill.
