Beef Noodle Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook noodles; drain and allow to cool. In a skillet, melt margarine.
  3. Saute onion and green bell pepper until tender.
  4. Add meat and brown slowly; set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together tomato paste, sour cream, sugar and salt and set aside.
  6. In a large bowl, toss together noodles and cottage cheese.
  7. Layer 1/2 noodle and cottage cheese mixture into a casserole dish.
  8. Spread with tomato sour cream mixture, then layer 1/2 meat mixture.
  9. Layer remaining noodle mixture, then meat. Pour tomato sauce over all.
  10. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
