spicy dr pepper pulled pork
- 1 pork butt
- 1 can 11 oz chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
- 2 can 12 oz dr pepper
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 onion
- preheat oven to 300
- place quartered onions in botton of pot
- place pork butt on top of onions and add salt and pepper to taste
- pour chipotle chiles over top
- pour dr pepper over chilies
- add brown sugar to liquid stirring slightly to combine
- cover pot and cook for at least 6 hours flipping roast 2 to 3 times during cooking process
- if pork does not easily pull apart return to oven in 30 minute intervals until done
- remove roast from pot and shred completely
- spoon fat from top of liquid in the pot.
- return the meat to the pot and keep it in the juice until you need it
- enjoy!
