Meat Pie with Mozzarella Cheese
- 200 grams Ground meat
- 1 Onion, minced
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 packages Mozzarella cheese
- 2 sheets Frozen pie crust
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 50 ml Red wine
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic and onion.
- Once the onion becomes translucent, add the ground meat and cook it thoroughly.
- Add the salt, pepper, soy sauce, and ketchup.
- Once the flavors have blended, pour in the red wine, cover with a lid, and let it steam cook to evaporate the liquid.
- Place the frozen pie crust on the bottom of a pie dish and poke it with a fork.
- Put the meat on top of the crust and top with pieces mozzarella cheese.
- Place thinly cut strips of the crust over the pie in a lattice pattern.
- Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200C.
- Check it after it has finished baking and if necessary, bake it in for a little longer.
- I made a really extravagant birthday menu.
