Meat Pie with Mozzarella Cheese

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and saute the garlic and onion.
  2. Once the onion becomes translucent, add the ground meat and cook it thoroughly.
  3. Add the salt, pepper, soy sauce, and ketchup.
  4. Once the flavors have blended, pour in the red wine, cover with a lid, and let it steam cook to evaporate the liquid.
  5. Place the frozen pie crust on the bottom of a pie dish and poke it with a fork.
  6. Put the meat on top of the crust and top with pieces mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place thinly cut strips of the crust over the pie in a lattice pattern.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200C.
  9. Check it after it has finished baking and if necessary, bake it in for a little longer.
  10. I made a really extravagant birthday menu.
