5-Minute Easy Mulukhiya Shira-ae
- 1/2 a bunch Mulukhiya
- 50 grams Tofu (your choice of tofu)
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 optional White sesame seeds
- Rinse the mulukhiya, boil in salt water, then coarsely chop.
- Also chop the part of the stalk that is tender.
- Combine the mulukhiya, tofu, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and sugar, and toss with chopsticks.
- The consistency will become paste-like.
- Chill before serving for best results.
- Because of the mucin (viscous substance) in mulukhiya, the tofu will not become watery, so you don't even have to drain it.
