Mini Pizza Turnovers Recipe
- 2/3 to 3/4 c. spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 10 ounce. can large flaky refrigerator biscuits
- 20 very thin slices pepperoni (half of a 3 1/2 ounce. pkg.)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Halve each biscuit horizontally, forming 20 thin biscuits.
- Gently shape one piece of dough in an oval about 2 1/2 x 4 inches.
- Place a slice of pepperoni slightly off center on the dough.
- Place about 1 Tbsp.
- sauce on the pepperoni.
- Top with a little mozzarella cheese.
- Moisten edges; fold dough over to enclose filling, pinchind edges to seal.
- Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake for about 20 min.
- Serve hot.
