Broiled Bluefish Fillets With Mayonnaise Recipe
- 2 x skinless bluefish or possibly mackerel fillets (8 ounce ea)
- 2 lrg garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- Preheat broiler and oil a shallow baking pan large sufficient to hold fillets in 1 layer.
- Smash garlic with salt and in a small bowl stir together with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper to taste.
- Arrange fillets in pan and spread mayonnaise proportionately over tops.
- Broil fillets 3 inches from heat till just cooked through, about 7 min.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
