Caesar Croutons
- 14 cup olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 3 slices white bread
- parmesan cheese
- parsley
- pepper
- salt
- Combine olive oil and garlic in cup.
- Let stand several hours or overnight.
- Remove and discard garlic.
- In separate bowl, mix cheese and seasonings.
- Heat oil in large skillet.
- Cut bread into small cubes.
- Put cubes in hot oil and spread into a single layer.
- Saute, stirring frequently until browned.
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with cheese mixture.
