Blackberry Wine Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Grease a 9 or 10 inch bunt pan or a tube pan.
  3. Put chopped pecans on bottom of pan.
  4. Combine cake mix dry blackberry jello, eggs, oil and 1 cup blackberry wine.
  5. Beat for 2 minutes , then pour batter over the top of pecans.
  6. Bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake test done.
  7. FOR BLACKBERRY WINE GLAZE .....
  8. Mix together powdered sugar with 1/2 cup blackberry wine and softened butter.
  9. Beat until smooth.
  10. Pour half of the blackberry wine glaze over the top of cake while still warm.
  11. Let sit for 10 minutes , then remove cake from pan.
  12. allow to cool fully before pouring the remaining glaze on top of cake.
