Fruit Cake Cookies(May Prepare Ahead.)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 2 1/2 c. flour (reserve 1/2 c. for fruit)
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 jigger whiskey
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. pecans, chopped
- 2 1/4 c. white raisins
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
- Add milk, flour, soda, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and whiskey.
- Mix well.
- Flour fruit with 1/2 cup reserved flour. Pour batter over fruit and mix.
- Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 250u0b0 for 35 minutes.
