Warm Thai Basil Noodles
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Unsalted Butter, melted*
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh gingerroot
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Unsalted Butter*
- 1 cup pea pods, strings removed, cut in half
- 1 cup julienne or matchstick carrots
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
- 12 ounces dried linguine noodles (broken in half), cooked, drained
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion, if desired
- 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts, if desired
- Combine all sauce ingredients in small bowl; mix well.
- Set aside.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling; add pea pods, carrots and garlic.
- Continue cooking 2-3 minutes or until carrots are crisply tender.
- Stir in cooked noodles and sauce.
- Continue cooking 2-3 minutes or until heated through.
- Top with sliced green onion and chopped peanuts, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
- *Substitute Land O Lakes Salted Butter.
