Crab-Shrimp Salad
- 1 lb. box seashell macaroni, prepared to directions on box and rinse in cold water, drain
- 1 lb. frozen shrimp
- 1 lb. imitation crab meat or can use 3 cans tuna
- 2 stalks celery (about 1 c.), finely chopped or grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 to 6 hard-boiled eggs, diced
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1/2 c. pickle relish
- 1 to 2 c. mayonnaise
- chopped green pepper (optional)
- 2 to 3 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
- Boil crab meat 5 to 7 minutes in 1 1/2 to 2 cups water, lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning.
- The last 2 minutes, put in shrimp. Mix together remaining ingredients with macaroni.
- Add drained crab meat and shrimp.
- Chill well and serve.
