Caramel Chip Bread for the Bread Machine
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey or yellow sugar
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 223 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1/4 cup butterscotch pudding mix, half the package
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon yeast, active dry
- 1 slice butter 1 cm thick, cut into 4 strips
- 3/4 cup caramels (candy squares) chips
- 1/2 cup caramels (candy squares) ice cream sauce
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butterscotch pudding or vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons cream
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- Bread
- Add all wet ingredients to bread maker
- Add the flour
- Add the other dry ingredients to the sides of the bread maker
- Add yeast in the center of the bread maker (away from the salt)
- Place 1 strip of butter on each side of the bread maker
- Start on full cycle
- Add caramel chips when the bread maker rings for adding nuts and berries.
- Dip or Spread (optional)
- While the bread bakes, melt butter and add brown sugar, pudding mix, and cinnamon.
- Beat well with an electric mixer until fluffy.
- Serve as a dip or spread.
