Mashed Potatoes

  1. Slice potatoes 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes or until fork-tender.
  3. Whip unpeeled cooked potatoes with electric mixer; mix until moderately smooth.
  4. Dont overbeat them; a few lumps are nice.
  5. Add hot milk, butter, and sour cream.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Whip until mixed.
  8. Adjust thickness by adding more milk, if desired.
