White Whiskey Cake Recipe
- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 3 3/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. minced walnuts
- 1 1/2 c. dates
- 1 c. cherries (optional)
- Cream together butter, butter, sugar and Large eggs.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into a greased, floured tube pan (bundt pan was used in the testing) and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 min.
- Remove from oven and while cake is still warm, mix: 1/2 c. orange juice, 1/3 c. sugar and 1/4 c. of whiskey in a bowl.
- Pour over cake at once.
- Cold three hrs before removing from pan.
