Grilled Mahi Mahi with Hawaiian BBQ Sauce and Ham & Pineapple Salsa
- Hawaiian BBQ Sauce
- 2 cups KRAFT Thick & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
- 2/3 cup canned crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1-1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
- Ham & Pineapple Salsa
- 2 qt. fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 qt. ham, small dice
- 2 tsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
- Mahi-Mahi
- 16 each mahi-mahi fillets (5 oz.)
- 1 cup canola oil
- Hawaiian BBQ Sauce: Combine ingredients in saucepan.
- Bring to simmer on medium heat.
- Cook 20 min., stirring occasionally.
- Cool.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Ham & Pineapple Salsa: Combine ingredients.
- Mahi-Mahi: Brush 1 fillet with 1 Tbsp.
- oil.
- Grill on high heat 3 to 5 min., rotating halfway to form diamond grill marks.
- Turn fish over; place on sizzle platter.
- Brush with 2 Tbsp.
- BBQ Sauce.
- Bake in 450 degrees F convection oven 5 to 7 min.
- or until fish flakes easily.
- Serve 1 fillet with 1 cup Ham & Pineapple Salsa.
