Green Chili Hamburger
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 can Green Chiles, 6 Ounce
- 4 Tablespoons Minced Onion
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 18 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 whole Egg
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Small Yellow Onion, Sliced
- 4 slices Pepper Jack Or Monterey Jack Cheese
- 4 whole Hamburger Buns
- Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl and mix together well, then divide into 4 equal parts and form into patties.
- Slice onion.
- Add olive oil to frying pan, heat to medium heat, add onions and cook just until onions are brown.
- Set aside.
- You can grill the burgers, fry them or use your George Forman.
- I used the George!
- Cook approximately 7 minutes, then remove from heat and add a slice of jack cheese.
- You can toast the buns or leave them the way they are.
- Put a pattie on the bun, top with 2 tablespoons onions, a dab of mayo and dijon mustard.
- Enjoy, serve with French fries or your favorite side.
