Beef Supper Sandwiches Recipe
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 egg
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. minced Spanish olives
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt, pepper, thyme
- 3 slices Cheddar cheese
- Cut off top of loaf of bread - throw away.
- Scoop out white part of remaining bread and crumble.
- Mix all ingredients except slices of Cheddar cheese.
- Put back into shell, wrap in foil.
- Put on cookie sheet.
- Bake 1 hour, 350 degrees.
- Open foil - put sliced cheese on top.
- Put back in oven for 5 min till cheese has melted.
