Cookies ' n Cream Torte

  1. Heat oven to 350 .
  2. Grease and line 2 - 9" cake pans with parchment paper.
  3. Or just grease well.
  4. Make cake as directed on box using oil ,water and eggs.
  5. Pour into your pans.
  6. Bake 25-33 minutes.
  7. Or until toothpick comes out clean in center.
  8. Run knife around outside of pan to loosen cake.
  9. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  10. About 1 hour.
  11. Fold crushed cookies in whipped topping.
  12. Or if using heavy cream.
  13. Beat 1 and 1/2 cups of cream with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.
  14. Till you have soft peaks.
  15. Remove one layer of cake from pan .
  16. Lay on your serving plate.Spread cake with half of your topping.
  17. Lay other one on top.
  18. Put on more topping.
  19. Decorate top of cake with mini - oreos.
  20. Store in refrigerator.
