Gnocchi with Pesto Cream Sauce

  1. Start by bringing a pot of water to boil for the gnocchi.
  2. In a separate pot, heat the butter and heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to bubble slightly.
  3. Add in the pesto and stir to combine.
  4. Add the crab meat and let the mixture simmer for around 3 minutes.
  5. While the sauce is simmering, cook the gnocchi for about 3 minutes.
  6. Once the gnocchi is floating on the surface of the water, add to the crab mixture and serve.
  7. Optional step: once the gnocchi is done boiling, put in a pot with a little olive oil over medium to high heat and saute the gnocchi to get the outside crispy.
