Reveille'S Favorite Dish

  1. Preheat bonfire to 400u0b0.
  2. Mix the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Make sure that all ingredients are mixed well.
  4. Trim any excess fat off the chops and make a diagonal cut along the side of each chop.
  5. Stuff the meat mixture into each chop, filling each cavity well.
  6. Dredge the chops in flour and broil for 45 minutes over a roaring bonfire, basting the chops with butter.
  7. Serve immediately on a bed of "cotton," preferably on New Year's Day.
