Poached Meatballs With Lemon Sauce
- 2 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 12 cup rye breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 lb ground beef
- combine meat, bread crumbs and egg.
- form meatballs.
- bring water to boil and add bouillon, stir until cubes dissolve.
- drop meatball in water and simmer for 10 minutes add remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce thickens.
